I’m still feeling the love from VDay — the Florida This Week gig, the Tampa Trib hit, and today’s Sarasota H-T hit. On top of that — all the wonderful, lovely emails from longtime regular readers of my old Reality Chick column, this blog, and some new readers who’ve come across my stuff just in the past few days.
Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who takes a minute out of their day to read this writer’s words. Means more than you know.
And in the spirit of gratitude … here are just a FEW of my favorite things to share back with you.
Kim Cartlidge’s Sarasota Magazine blog
Thoreau’s Walden.
Chez Sylvie et fils — the ABSOLUTE BEST RESTAURANT in all of Sarasota, hands-down. I promised myself I wouldn’t tell anyone about it because I wanted to keep it all to myself, but my better self says I should share! Check Chez Sylvie out and tell her MC sent you. (2881 Clark Road/Merchants Pointe Plaza).

February 18, 2009 at 10:13 amI will have to try it.The irony is it took the spot of the Selva Grill before they moved downtown.Sadly I like the old location better as the Selva is a bit too upscale for me with high prices but for a couple of times a year it has been the best place for me..Nothing beats New Jersey’s food:-)

February 19, 2009 at 3:52 pmUmm, turkey burgers in west orange, nj are not only unique, but to die for..
Clam broth house in hoboken, nj.. a sublime decadence.
oh, shadowbrook in shrewsbury, nj for a refined dining experience.
I could go on…
