I reported a while back that Gecko’s Grill & Pub had opened on Hillview, near the hospital. I was driving by there earlier today and saw a sign in their window that says, basically, that Moms eat for free on Mother’s Day, May 9. (Hey, does that apply to “cat Moms”???)

Anyway, it seems like such a good deal — I mean, you always hear there’s no such thing as a free lunch or a free meal, but I checked out their website (see below info) and it’s true. And, being the nosy bugger that I am I looked up the menu for Moms and it includes salmon and meatloaf — two of my faves!

Anyway, I don’t have any affiliation with Gecko’s — just passing the info along — seems like a good deal some of my readers might not want to pass up.

Anyway, wishing all the Moms out there — whether technically a Mom, just a feline “Mom” like me, or a Mom in spirit, a great Mother’s Day and hope you’re feeling the love from people or cats or the world at large.
