After the Sink/Scott debate last night … after all the sad, sad ads — it seems clear to me that neither gubernatorial candidate is anywhere near, really, what I’d want in the person who governs the Sunshine State.

Allegations of fraud, malfeasance, a morass of contradicting finger-pointing … all reveal a kind of stomach-turning nostalgie de la boue on the part of Sink and Scott.

As voters, is it any wonder we’re suffering from mind-boggling malaise?

I can separate the wheat from the chaff though and there’s more to Sink than there is to Scott. With her, I think the state, particularly women and minorities, have at least a fighting chance to stay afloat.
With Scott — I’m pretty sure we’re sunk.
